Robert I. Hanfling, M.S., MBA, a top management executive with more than 40 years of corporate and public sector experience, has worked with hundreds of organizations ranging from startup ventures to Fortune 100 corporations. Mr. Hanfling brings a unique ability to integrate market, economic and social trends in developing alternative opportunities for both corporations and government. He consulted for a $4.5 billion union pension fund focusing on his core expertise in technology and energy. An expert negotiator, he has built an exemplary track record for resolving major business conflicts, and structuring complex business transactions. He has an outstanding public service record, serving as Deputy Under Secretary of Energy in the Carter Administration, and helped in establishing new energy policies and the reorganization of the Department.
